Mr. Brace, (the rules being suspended,) submitted the fol-
lowing order:

Ordered, That at each evening session this week, the Clerk
call the roll of counties in the order in which they are called
on the passage of bills, and that the Delegates from each
county and each Legislative District of Baltimore City, shall
have the right, as their county or district is called, to name a
local bill, (or by unanimous consent, a general bill,) to be put
either on its second reading or final passage, as the case may
be.

Which was rejected.

Mr. Freaner, (the rules being suspended,) submitted the
following order:

Ordered, That all bills of incorporation already provided
for by General Laws, be referred without motion, by the
Speaker, to the Judiciary Committee.

Which was adopted.

Mr. Stake, (the rules being suspended,) submitted the fol-
lowing order:

Ordered, That all persons be requested not to smoke in
this Hall during or immediately preceding the session of this
House.

Which was adopted.

Mr. Stake, (the rules being suspended,) submitted the fol-
lowing order:

Ordered, That no person, other than members of this
House, shall be permitted to examine bills on the calender
upon the Speaker's desk, and then only by permission of the
Speaker, and all bills taken from the calender shall be re-
turned to their numerical order thereon.

Which was unanimously adopted.

The Secretary of the Senate returned the following bill:

The bill entitled an Act for the better protection of birds
in Garrett county,

Endorsed, "Passed by yeas and nays, with proposed amend-
ments."

AMENDMENTS PROPOSED.

Line 3, section 6, strike out the words "any Justice of
the Peace in this," and insert "the Circuit Court of Garrett."

Line 13, section 6, after the word "days," strike out all to
end oi section.

Line 5, section 7, after the word " Peace," 'strike out all
to end of section, and insert " who for probable cause shown
