The bill entitled an Act to incorporate the Baltimore
Gazette Publishing Company,

The bill entitled an Act to incorporate the Calvert Chemi-
cal and Fertilizer Company.

Being upon a second reading
Mr. Gill submitted the following amendment :
AMENDMENT PROPOSED.

Add as section 9 : SECTION 9 And be it enacted, That the
General Assembly of Maryland reserve, the right to repeal
or amend this Act at its pleasure ; and make present section
9, read section 10.

The proposed amendment was adopted, and the hill, as
amended, read a second time and ordered to be engrossed
for a third reading.

The bill entitled an Act to repeal and re-enact with
amendments an Act to incorporate the Preachers' Fund
Society of Baltimore City, chapter 283, of the Acts of 1853,

Was read a second time and ordered to be engrossed for a
third reading.

And having been engrossed,

Mr. Greenfield moved that said bill be read a third time
this day, under the provisions of the Constitution, section
27, Article 3.
