The Senate bill entitled an Act to add an additional sec-
tion to Article 40, of the Code of Public General Laws, en-
titled "Fines and Forfeitures," to come in after section 3,

Being upon a third reading,

The question recurring upon the following amendment
submitted by the Committee on the Judiciary on the 11th
instant: Section 1, line 13, strike out the words "three hun-
dred," and insert in lieu thereof the words "one hundred
and fifty."

The proposed amendment was adopted, and the bill, as
amended, read a third time, and passed by yeas and nays, as
follows:

powers of the Boys' Home Society of Baltimore,

Being upon a third reading,
Mr. Keech submitted the following amendment:
AMENDMENT PROPOSED.

Add after section 8, to be section 9 of said bill, the fol-
lowing : And be it enacted, That the General Assembly re-
serves to itself the right to amend, alter or repeal this Act at
pleasure.
