Section 3, line 1, strike out the word "ten," before the word
thousand, and insert the word "three,"

The bill was then read a second time and ordered to be
engrossed for a third reading.

Mr. Watkins, Chairman of the Committee on Ways and
Means, reported unfavorably,

The bill entitled an Act to repeal chapter 274, Acts of
1872, entitled an Act to regulate the taxation of Coal Min-
ing Companies in this State.

The question recurring upon the adoption of the report,

Mr. Brace moved that the bill be substituted for the unfa-
vorable report of the Committee.
