300 JOURNAL OF PROCEEDINGS [Feb. 10,

due by Collectors, Sheriffs, Clerks, Registers and other re-
ceivers of public moneys, in cases where the indebtedness
accrued prior to and including the year 1869, by repealing
section 1 of said Act, and re-enacting the same with amend-
ments.

Said bill being upon a third reading,

The bill was then read a third time and passed by yeas
and nays, as follows:

Said bill was then returned to the Senate.

The bill entitled an Act to provide for the redivision of
Allegany county into election districts,

Being upon a second reading,

The question recurring upon the amendment proposed by
the Select Committee on yesterday, the 9th instant

The amendment was then adopted, and the bill, as amend-
ed, read a second time, and ordered to be engrossed for a
third reading.

The hour having arrived for taking up the order of the
day,

The House proceeded to the consideration of the. bill enti-
tled an Act to locate the county seat of Garrett county, said
bill being upon a third reading.
