So the motion prevailed, and the bill was substituted for
the unfavorable report of the Committee.

The bill was then read a first time.

The bill entitled an Act to repeal section 180 of Article 30
of the supplement to the Code of Public General Laws,
relating to Sabbath breaking, and to re enact the same with
amendments,

Being upon a second reading,
Mr. McCosker submitted the following amendment:
AMENDMENT PROPOSED.

Section 1, line 28, strike out the words "one-half of," and
all of the bill after the word "State," in lino 30.
Which was adopted.

The bill as amended was then read a second time and
ordered to be engrossed for a third reading.

The bill entitled an Act to alter and amend section 2 of
an Act entitled an Act to authorize the building of a bridge
over the River Patapsco, passed at January session, 1856,
chapter 215,

Was read a second time and ordered to be engrossed for a
third reading.

The bill entitled an Act to repeal sections 5 and 6, of the
Act of the General Assembly of Maryland, passed at the Jan-
uary session, 1872, chapter 212, entitled an Act to provide
for taking a vote for or against a new county in certain elec-
tion districts in Allegany county, at the election to be held
in the fall of 1872, and to re-enact the same with amend-
ments,

Was read a second time and ordered to be engrossed for
a third reading.

A bill entitled an Act to repeal sections 105 and 106, of
Article 3, of the Code of Public Local Laws, title "Baltimore
County," sub-title "Fences," and sections 195, 196 and
197, of Article 3, of the Code of Public Local Laws, title
"Baltimore County," sub-title "Trespass,"

Was read a third time and passed by yeas and nays, as

follows:
