to whom was referred the Senate bill entitled an Act relat-
ing to Building Associations, Homestead Associations and
Land Companies in this State,

Reported the same with proposed amendment:

AMENDMENT PROPOSED.
At the end of 17th line, 1st section, add :

Provided, The provisions of this Act do not apply to simi-
lar Associations in Montgomery and Allegany counties.

The amendment was adopted, and the bill as amended read
a second time.

Mr. Gill, from the Committee on the Judiciary, reported
unfavorably,

A bill entitled an Act giving the sanction of the General
Assembly of Maryland to certain legacies bequeathed by the
last will and testament of Levin M. Lamden, deceased, late
of Worcester county, to the Trustees of Pitts' Creek Baptist
Church of Worcester county, State of Maryland.

And the report was concurred in.

Mr. Freaner, Chairman of a Select Committee, reported
without amendment,

The Senate bill entitled an Act .to repeal section 2, of
chapter 410, of the Acts of Assembly passed January ses-
sion, 1872, entitled an Act to repeal section 2, of chapter
274, passed January session, 1870, entitled an Act to repeal
section 2, of chapter 31, of the Acts of Assembly of 1865, in
relation to the publication of Local Laws, and to re-enact
said section 2, of chapter 410, passed at January session,
1872, with amendments, and to amend and re-enact the
same.

Said bill was then read a second time.

Mr. Merritt, Chairman of a Select Committee, reported
favorably,

A bill entitled an Act to prevent persons in Kent county
from pursuing tousorial occupations on Sunday.

Which, was read a first time.

Mr. Robinson, Chairman of a Select Committee, reported
favorably,

A bill entitled an Act to authorize the County Commis-
sioners of Anne Arundel county to review and correct the
valuation of the lands in said county, assessed to L. D. Gulli-
