Which was read a first time.

The bill entitled an Act to repeal section one of an Act
passed at the January session, 1872, chapter 131, entitled an
Act for the better protection of oysters, clams, terrapins, and
fish, in the Synapuxent Bay and its, tributaries, in Dorchester
county, and to re-enact the same with amendments,

Being upon a second reading,

On motion of Mr. Pruitt, the further consideration thereof
was postponed, and the bill recommitted to the Select Com-
mittee reporting the same.

The bill entilled an Act to repeal all laws in Worcester
county, entitled "Fencing," and re enact the same with
amendments.

Was read a second time and ordered to be engrossed for a
third reading.

The bill entitled an Act for the pxotection of black bass
and all other fish in the Patapsco River, above tidawater,

Was read a second time, and ordered to be engrossed for a
third reading, and

On motion of Mr. Keech, the further consideration: thereof
was postponed, and said bill was recommitted to the Select
Committee reporting the same.

The bill entitled an Act to prohibit the granting of license
for the sale of spirituous or fermented liquors or lager beer,
at or near the ground of the Wesley Grove Camp-Meeting
Association, in Howard county,

Was read a second time and ordered to be engrossed for a
third reading.

The bill entitled an Act to repeal section, 8, of chapter 303,
of the laws of 1872, entitled an Act for the better protection
of birds and rabbits in Frederick and Anne Arundel counties,
and to re-enact the same with amendments,

Was read a second time and ordered to be engrossed for a
third reading.

The bill entitled an Act to incorporate the Farmers' Man-
ufacturing Company, of New Market,

Was read a second time and ordered to be engrossed for a
third reading.

The bill entitled an Act to confirm the devise and bequest
of Benjamin Parsons, late of Wicomico county, deceased, to
the vestry of Spring Hill Parish, for certain uses and pur-
poses therein named,
