A bill entitled and Act to limit the hours of labor in this
State for all minors under sixteen years of age.

Which was read a first time and referred to the Commit-
tee on Manufactures.

A bill entitled an Act to repeal an Act passed January
session, 1870, chapter 441, so far as the same applies to
Frederick county.

Which was read a first time and referred to the Frederick
delegation.

A bill entitled an Act to authorize Hashabiah Haines, of
Carroll county, to settle his accounts as guardian to Wm. L.
Haines, in the Orphans' Court of Baltimore City, and to de-
liver over the estate to his ward.

Which was read a first time and referred to the Com-
mittee on the Judiciary.

A bill entitled an Act to authorize the Mayor and Council
of Hagerstown to borrow the snm of five thousand dollars
to pay a judgment of Nathaniel Sehner, and a judgment of
T. Gr. Gruber, recovered against them, to issue bonds for the
payment of the same, and to levy taxes on the assessable
property of Hagerstown to redeem said bonds and to pay
the interest thereon.

Which was read a first time and referred to the Washing-
ton county delegation.

A bill entitled an Act to amend an Act entitled an Act to
incorporate the Potomac Fire Insurance Company of Balti-
more, passed at January session, 1867, chapter 424, and to
amend an Act entitled an Act to amend an Act to incor-
porate the Potomac Fire Insurance Company of Baltimore,
passed at the January session, 1867, chapter 424, passed at
the January session, 1872, chapter 235.

Which was read a first time and referred to the Commit-
tee on Corporations.

Also,

Delivered Joint Resolutions on the passage of the Sup-
plemental Civil Rights Bill.

Which were read a first time and referred to the Commit-
tee on Federal Relations.

The bill entitled an Act to repeal and re-enact with amend-
ments, section 135, of Article 12 of the Code of Public
Local Laws, title "Harford County," sub-title "Sheriffs,"
as amended and re-enacted by chapter 340, of the Acts passed
January session, 1872,
