The Senate bill entitled "An Act to add a new section to
Article XXX. of the Code of Public General Laws of the
State of Maryland, to succeed section 144, so as to prevent
the public execution of the death penalty,"

Was read the third time and passed by yeas and nays as
follows:

Article IV. of the Code of Public Local Laws, title 'City of
Baltimore,' relating to the limits of direct taxation within
said city, and to re-enact the same with amendments,"

Was postponed.

The House bill entitled "An Act granting the assent of
the General Assembly of Maryland to the legacy granted to
Trinity Protestant Episcopal Church in the city of Baltimore,
by John H. Hugg, late of said city, deceased,"
