Gentlemen of the Senate of Maryland:

I nominate Richard Jones, as Justice of the Peace for Caro-
line county, 1st district, vice D. R. Heathers, resigned.

The Senate advised and consented to the aforegoing ap-
pointment agreeably to the nomination.
