1138 EXECUTIVE PROCEEDINGS

TUESDAY, March 24, 1874.

The following communications which had been received
from PL's Excellency,. Governor Groome, by the hands of
R. C. Hollyday, Esq., Secretary of State, were read:

STATE OF MARYLAND,

EXECUTIVE DEPARTMENT,

Annapolis, March 20, 1874.

Gentlemen of the Senate of Maryland:

I have the honor to make the following nomination for
Frederick county:

Coroner.
Thomas Ott, in place of Isaac Titlow, declined.

JAMES BLACK GROOME.
On motion by Mr. Steiner,

The Senate advised and consented to the aforegoing ap-
pointment agreeably to the nomination.

STATE OF MARYLAND,
EXECUTIVE DEPARTMENT,

Annapolis, March 24, 1874.

Wicomico county:

Justice of the Peace.

7th District—John W. Jones, in place of B. F. Mezick,
