Annapolis, February 19, 1874.
Gentlemen of the Senate of Maryland:

I have the honor to nominate Edward Willey, for Justice
of the Peaee, in the 2nd District of Talbot county, vice John
T. Ford, rejected.

On motion by Mr. Lloyd,

The Senate advised and consented to the aforegoing ap-
pointment agrerably to the nomination.
