1050 JOURNAL OF PROCEEDINGS [April 6,

'For the investment of $40,000.00 in the Parkton and Man-
chester Rail Road,' or the words and figures 'Against the in-
vestment of $40,000.00 in. the Parkton and Manchester Rail
Road,' as the case may be; and it shall be the duty of the
judges of election in said county, to receive said separate
ballots, and deposit the same in boxes different from those in
which the ballots cast for candidates at said election are de-
posited, and the said judges shall accurately count and duly re-
turn to the Clerk of the Circuit Court for said county, the num-
ber of votes cast for railroad subscription, and the number of
votes cast against railroad subscription, and the said Clerk
shall, within twenty days after the receipt of said returns, by
proclamation, inserted in at least two of the newspapers pub-
lished in said county, announce the result of the said vote."

"And make section 3, section 4."
