The House bill entitled an Act to refund to Thomas Bra-
shears, of Prince George's county, a sum of money,

Was read the third time and passed by yeas and nays as
follows :

highways and bridges within the proposed corporate limits
of Baltimore city,

Being on its third reading,

Mr. Blake moved to strike out the enacting clause.

Which was rejected.

Mr. Davis submitted the following amendment:

"Provided, that the provisions of this Act shall not apply
to any turnpike road in Baltimore county."

Which was adopted.

Said bill, as amended, was then read the third time and
