Resolution in favor of Elizabeth Amos.
Resolved by the General Assembly of Maryland, That
the treasurer of the Western shore, be, and he is hereby
authorised and required to pay to Elizabeth Amos, of the
city of Baltimore, or to her order, in quarter yearly pay-
ments, a sum of money equal to the half pay of a captain,
in consideration of the services rendered by her husband,
during the revolutionary war.

Resolution authorising the Governor to call out a portion
of the Militia, to suppress a riot on the Baltimore add
Washington Rail Road.
WHEREAS, information has been received by the Ex-
ecutive, that the labourers on the sixth section of the Bal-
timore and Washington Rail Road, are in a riotous state,
and an informal requisition has been made on the governor,
for the aid of the Militia; — Therefore,
Resolved by the General Assembly of Maryland, That
the governor, be, and he is hereby authorised (if he shall
deem it necessary) to call out such a portion of the Mili-
tia of the state as may be necessary to suppress the riot in
question.

Resolution directing the Armourer to deliver to Captain
William B. Everett, certain Arms, &c.
Resolved by the General Assembly of Maryland, That
the armourer at Annapolis, be, and he is hereby required
to deliver to Captain William B. Everett, of Kent county,
a number of swords and pistols, not exceeding sixty of each,
with appropriate accoutrements, which the said armourer
may select, on his giving such security for the safe keep-
