be lawful thus to create, shall not exceed twenty thousand,
and that the Directors of the Institution in their discrefion,
may limit the number to ten thousand, or any greater num-
ber not ex ceeding twenty thousand shares.

An act to extend to the Baltimore and Susquehanna Rail
road company certain privileges and powers heretofore
granted to the Baltimore and Ohio rail road company.

|
Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland, That
the several rights, privileges and powers granted to the
Baltimore and Ohio rail road company, bj an act passed
at December session, eighteen hundred and thirty, chapter
one hundred and seventeen, entitled, a second supplement to
the act entitled, an act to incorporate the Baltimore and Ohio
rail road company, passed at December session, eighteen
hundred and twenty-six, chapter one hundred and twenty-
three, be and the same are hereby extended to the Baltimore
and Susquehanna rail road company.

A supplement to the act entitled, an act relating to Mortga-
ges, passed December session, eighteen hundred and thirty
three.

Foreclosure
|
Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That it shall not be necessary in any cause of foreclosure
or sale of mortgaged property, to make the heirs of the mort-
gagees parties to the same; but that any decree upon any
bill for foreclosure or sale aforesaid, filed by the executors
or administrators of the mortgagees, shall have the same
effect as if the said heirs were parties as aforesaid.
