to their infant son, Richard S. Stewart, and which said
tracts of land have beea found to contain considerably less
than the quantity of acres assessed and paid for.

CHAP. 243.

Sec. 2. And be it enacted, That the said commissioners
be and they are hereby authorised to levy on the assessa-
ble property whereon other levies are made by them, such
sum of money jts may be found, upon examination by said
commissioners, to be justly due to said James Stewart as
aforesaid, and when levied or collected to pay the same
over to him.

CHAPTER 242.

 

Aw act supplementary to an act to provide for the opening of
a road therein mentioned, passed at December session,
eighteen hundred and thirty-two, chapter two hundred and
fifty-three.

Passed Mar.14, 1834

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland, That
the commissioners appointed "by aad in virtue of the act to
which this is a supplement, be and the same are hereby
empowered and authorised to assess the damages for open-
ing said road, and make report of the same, under oath, to
the commissioners of Anne Arundel county, who are here-
by directed to levy on the assessable property of the county
for the use of those-in whose favour damages are awarded.

CHAPTER 243.

 

An act to make public a certain road in Baltimore county.

Passed Mar. 14,1884

WHEREAS, it is represented to this General Assembly,
by the petition of Edward H. Dorsey, Paul Rust, James
Beaty, junior, Peter House, Henry Emmart and Mary Rust,
that the public convenience requires a road between the
Frederick turnpike road and the old Frederick town road,
and they being the proprietors of the land, have laid out and
opened a road from House's tavern, on the Frederick turn-
pike road, to Rust's grave yard, thence to the pld Frederick
road, near to Moke's tavern, which road the public conve-
nience lequires to be made public — Therefore,
