CHAPTER 60.

 

AN ACT to repeal Chapter 238 of the Acts of the General As-

 

sembly of Maryland of 1902, entitled an "Act to authorize

 

the Commissioners of Somerset County to pay the costs

 

incurred by Joseph Muir, who was returned without any

 

fraud by the judges of election of said county, as County

 

Commissioner-elect of said county, in his contest with L.

 

Wesley Beauchamp before the Circuit Court for Somerset

 

County and the Court of Appeals of Maryland, in which

 

contest the office was awarded to the said L. Wesley Beau-

 

champ, and the said Joseph Muir was compelled to pay

 

the costs of said contest. "

 

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-

 

land, That Chapter 238 of the Acts of the General Assembly

To pay cost of
contestant

of Maryland of 1902, entitled "An Act to authorize the County

for office.

Commissioners of Somerset County to pay the costs incurred

 

by Joseph Muir, who was returned, without fraud, by the

 

judges of election of Somerset County, as County Commis-

 

sioner-elect of Somerset County in his contest with L. Wesley

be and the same is hereby repealed.

 

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this Act shall take effect

 

from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 61.

 

AN ACT to repeal Sections 296, 297 and 298 of Article 17

 

of the Code of Public Local Laws of the State of Mary-

 

land, title "Prince George's County, " sub-title "Sheriff, "

 

as amended by the Act of 1900, Chapter 530, and to re-

 

enact the said sections so as to read as follows:

 

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-

 

land, That Sections 296, 297 and 298 of Article 17 of the

Sheriff Prince

Code of Public Local Laws of the State of Maryland, title

George's
County.

"Prince George's County, " sub-title "Sheriff, " as amended
