CHAPTER 532.

 

AN ACT to prevent persons and corporations having a li-

 

cense to sell spirituous and fermented liquors and lager beer

 

in Frederick County allowing female persons to frequent and

 

drink in their bar-rooms and other places.

 

SECTION i. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-

 

land, That no person or corporation having a license to sell

shall be fined not less than one hundred dollars nor more than

 

two hundred and fifty dollars for each offense, and on failure

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this Act shall take effect

CHAPTER 534.

 

AN ACT to appropriate the sum of money herein mentioned

 

to pay the claims of Martha E. Horn, administratrix of

 

John W. Horn, deceased, late of Prince George's County,

 

for over-payment of State taxes to the State of Maryland

 

for the years 1894, 1895, 1896, 1897, 1898 and 1899.

 

SECTION I. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-

 

land, That the Comptroller of the Treasury be and he is
