SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That in all cases in which the

punishment may be death, the compensation of said attorney

shall be the sum of fifty dollars; in all cases of assault with

intent to kill or rape, the compensation of said attorney shall
|

be twenty dollars, and in all other cases the compensation of

said attorney shall be ten dollars, to be levied by the county
|
 
|
commissioners of Prince George's County at their regular
|
 
|
annual levy, and in no case shall any compensation be allowed
|
 
|
unless a plea of not guilty be entered and the case regularly
|
 
|
tried before and decided by the court or jury.
|
 
|
SEC. 3. And be it enacted. That this Act shall take effect
|
 
|
from the date of its passage.

AN ACT to incorporate the Eastern Shore Poultry Farm
|

Company.
|
 
|
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
|

land, That Claud M. Powell, Virgil F. Ward, Walter S.

Sheppard and Wade T. Porter, all of Wicomico County, State

of Maryland, and Howard U. Clogg, of the City of Balti-

more, and State aforesaid, all citizens of the United States,
|
 
|
and their successors, and all persons who may become here-
|

after members of the corporation to be created by this Act.
|
 
|
are hereby created and declared to be a body corporate, by
|
 
|
the name, style and title of "The Eastern Shore Poultry
|
 
|
Farm Company, " and by the same name to have perpetual
|
 
|
succession, and shall be capable to sue and be sued, complain
|
 
|
and defend in any court of law or equity, to make and use
|
 
|
a common seal, and to change the same at will, to receive and
|
 
|
make deeds and contracts, to acquire by purchase, or other
|
 
|
manner, take, hold, use, employ, manage, mortgage, dispose
|
 
|
of, or in any other manner not inconsistent with, deal with any
|
 
|
property, real or personal or mixed, and situate in or out of
|
