40B. The said clerk is furthermore hereby required, when-

40C. Every lot sold or conveyed in such cemetery as afore-

said shall be held by the proprietors or owners of such lot

for the sole purpose of sepulture and none other, and shall not

be subject to such rules or regulations as may from time to
|

time be established for the use, care, preservation or improve-

ments of same.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That all laws or parts of laws
|
 
|
inconsistent herewith are hereby repealed ; and that this Act
|
 
|
shall take effect from the date of its passage.

AN ACT to provide for a special election in Baltimore City
|
 
|
for the submission to the legal voters of said city of an
|
 
|
ordinance, the same to be so submitted at such time and
|
 
|
place as shall be fixed thereby, pursuant to the provisions
|
 
|
of Section 7 of Article 11 of the Constitution of Maryland,
|
 
|
authorizing the issuance of stock by the said corporation to
|
 
|
an amount not exceeding six million dollars, for the purpose
|
 
|
of supplying additional means for defraying the expenses
|
 
|
and cost of carrying into execution the plan of improve-
|
 
|
