CHAPTER 45.

 

AN ACT to authorize and empower Joseph H. Bernard,

 

Thomas H. Jarman, Thomas C. Curry, Robert I. Raughley,

 

William J. Moore, Clinton B. Jarman, Thomas F. Jackson,

 

Samuel J. Bilbrough and Henry Tothwate, Trustees of the

 

Methodist Episcopal Church in Greensboro, Caroline Coun-

 

ty, Maryland, or a majority of them, to sell said church and

 

apply the proceeds arising from said sale to the building and

 

completion of the new Methodist Episcopal Church now be-

 

ing erected in said town of Greensboro, Maryland.

 

SECTION i. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-

land, That Joseph H. Bernard, Thomas H. Jarman, Thomas

Jackson, Clinton B. Jarman, Samuel J. Bilbrough and Henry

 

Tothwate, Trustees of the Methodist Episcopal Church (or

 

a majority of them), situated on Main street in the town of

 

Greensboro, Maryland, be and they are hereby authorized and

 

empowered to sell said church building, including so much of

 

the church lot not occupied by graves and contiguous to the

 

church building either at public or private sale as they may elect

 

and to apply the money arising from said sale to the building

 

and completion of the new Methodist Episcopal Church build-

 

ing now being erected on Railroad avenue in said town of

 

Greensboro, Maryland.

 

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this Act shall take effect

 

from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 46.

 

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact Section 3 of Chapter 175 of

 

the Acts of 1896, entitled "An Act to amend and extend the

 

Charter of the Mutual Fire Insurance Company in Balti-

 

more County. "

 

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-

 

land, That Section 3 of Chapter 175 of the Acts of 1896 be

 

and the same is hereby repealed and re-enacted to read as

 

follows:

 

3. That it shall be the duty of the president or secretary of

 

the Mutual Fire Insurance Company, in Baltimore County,
