CHAPTER 358.
|

AN ACT for the better protection of game birds, song birds,
|
 
|
insectivorous birds in St. Mary's County.
|
 
|
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
|
 
|
land, That Section 15H, of Chapter 206, of the Acts of the
|

General Assembly of 1898, be and the same is hereby made

contrary notwithstanding, and that Section I, of Chapter 588,

of the Acts of the General Assembly of 1892, be repealed and

re-enacted so as to read as follows:

1. It shall be unlawful for any person in St. Mary's County
|

to shoot, kill or catch, or in any manner to entrap or ensnare any
|
sons.

partridge or quail in said county between the twenty-fourth
|
 
|
day of December and the first day of November ; nor any wood-
|
 
|
cock between the twenty-fourth day of February and the fourth
|
 
|
day of July ; nor any rabbit between the fifteenth day of Janu-
|
 
|
ary and the first day of November of each year.
|
 
|
SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That any of the Public Local
|
 
|
Laws of St. Mary's County be and the same are hereby re-
|
 
|
pealed in so far as they may be inconsistent with Section 15H
|
 
|
of Chapter 206 of the Acts of the General Assembly of 1898.
|
 
|
SEC. 3. And be it enacted, That this Act shall take effect
|
 
|
from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 359.
|

AN ACT to authorize the Board of School Commissioners of
|
 
|
Anne Arundel County to borrow money on faith of their
|
 
|
income as the said income accrues, for the purpose of en-
|
 
|
abling them to keep the public schools of Anne Arundel
|
 
|
County open for the free scholastic year of 1904.
|
 
|
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
|
 
|
land, That the Board of County School Commissioners be and
|
 
|
they are hereby authorized to borrow on the faith of their in-
|
