der Hardcastle, J. Allen Moore, Thomas H. Jarman, Joseph

 

B. Orrell and John T. Dawson, Trustees, or a majority of them,

 

are hereby authorized and empowered to sell the Oakland

 

Camp-ground, situated in the Seventh Election District of

 

Caroline County and State of Maryland, either at public or pri-

 

vate sale, as they or a majority of them shall think best, and to

 

pay the proceeds of said sale over to the treasurer of the

 

building committee of said Greensboro Methodist Episcopal

 

Church to be used in the erection and completion of a new

 

church building now being erected in said town of Greens-

 

boro, Maryland.

 

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this Act shall take effect

 

from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 44.

 

AN ACT to amend Article 27 of the Code of Public General

 

Laws, title "Crimes and Punishments, " by repealing Sec-

 

tion 47A, as enacted by Chapter 73 of the Acts of 1896, and

 

re-enacting the same with amendments under the sub-title

 

"Desertion of Wife or Child. " and by adding thereto an

 

additional section, to follow immediately after Section 47A,

 

and to be known as Section 47B.

 

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-

 

land, That Article 27 of the Code of Public General Laws,
