97C. Any person who shall unlawfully wear the insignia,
distinctive ribbons or membership rosette or button of the
|
 
|
Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks of the United States
|
 
|
of America or use the same to obtain aid or assistance within
|
 
|
the State, unless he shall be entitled to use or wear the same
|
 
|
under the constitution and by-laws, rules and regulations of
|
 
|
said organization, shall be guilty of a misdemeanor, and upon
|
 
|
conviction, shall be punished by a fine not to exceed one hun-
|
 
|
dred dollars.
|
 
|
SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this Act shall take effect
|
 
|
from the date of its passage.
|
 
|

CHAPTER 348.

AN ACT to authorize the County Commissioners of Harford
|
 
|
County to grant a pension to Charles L. Pyle, of said county.
|
 
|
SECTION I. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
|

land, That the County Commissioners of Harford County
|

sion of one hundred dollars to Charles L. Pyle, of said county,

CHAPTER 349.
|
 
|
AN ACT to establish a sewerage system for the City of Bal-
|
 
|
timore ; to empower the Mayor and City Council of Baltimore
|
 
|
to issue stock to an amount not exceeding ten million dol-
|
 
|
lars for the purpose of defraying the cost of said sewerage
|
 
|
system ; to authorize the submission of an ordinance to that
|
 
|
end to the legal voters of the City of Baltimore, and to au-
|
 
|
thorize the Mayor and City Council of Baltimore to establish
|
 
|
a system of sewer rates.
