CHAPTER 342.

 

AN ACT to regulate the building of bridges across the

 

Monocacy river within one and a-half miles of the Iron

 

Stone Ridge, at a point commonly known as Stump's Hill

 

in Frederick County, Maryland, and to enable the County

 

Commissioners of Frederick County to purchase, lease or

 

condemn the stone arch bridge now in course of construc-

 

tion across the Monocacy river in Frederick County, Mary-

 

land, at said point, for the use of said county, and to author-

 

ize and empower the said County Commissioners to borrow

 

sufficient money on the credit of said county for the pur-

 

pose of paying for said bridge in case the same is purchased

 

or acquired by the County Commissioners of said county.

 

SECTION I. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
