son or by proxy. Other meetings of said stockholders may be

 

called by the directors or a majority of them, according to such

 

rules as may be adopted by the by-laws of the said company,

 

and the directors shall meet as often as necessary for the trans-

 

action of business.

 

SEC. 12. And be it enacted. That this Act shall take effect

 

from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 231.

 

AN ACT to repeal an Act, entitled "An Act to preserve the

 

streets and protect the property rights of citizens of incorpo-

 

rated towns in Montgomery County," passed at the January

 

Session, 1900, of the General Assembly of Man-land, Chap-

 

ter 476, as the same was repealed and re-enacted with amend-

 

ments by Chapter 360 of the Acts of the General Assembly

 

of Maryland, passed at the Session of 1902, entitled "An Act

 

to repeal an Act entitled 'An Act to preserve the streets

 

and protect the property rights of citizens of incorporated

 

towns of Montgomery County,'' passed at the January Ses-

 

sion of 1900, Chapter 476, and to re-enact the same with

 

amendments.

 

SECTION i. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-

 

land, That an Act entitled "An Act to preserve the streets and
