borough to Sharpsburg, then crossing the turnpike south

 

twenty-seven and one-half degrees, east thirteen and one-

 

fourth perches, to a stone at the floodgate in the creek, then up

 

the creek in the middle with the meanders thereof two hundred

 

and ninety perches to the middle of the bridge east of Boons-

 

borough on the turnpike leading from Boonsborough to Mid-

 

dletown, then leaving the bridge north seven and one-half de-

 

grees, east thirty-five and one-half perches, to a stone at the

 

southeast corner of Frank Storm's lot, north one and one-half

 

degrees, east twenty-seven perches, to a stone at the root of

 

a wild cherry tree sapling, north twelve and one-half degrees,

 

west fifty-two perches, to a stone on the line between Moses

 

Bomberger and Josiah Blecker, thence north thirteen and

 

three-fourths degrees, east eighty-three and three-fourths

 

perches, to a stone at the southeast corner of Samuel Douglass'

 

lot, then with said lot north twenty-three degrees, east thirty-

 

eight perches, to a stone near a large marked locust tree on

 

the north margin of an old road, thence north sixty-three and

 

one-half degrees, west one hundred and eighty and one-half

 

perches, to the place of beginning.

 

38. The male citizens of Boonsborough of the age of twenty-

 

one years and upwards, who shall have resided in the State of

Qualifications
of voters at

Maryland and in said town for twelve months next preceding

town election.

the election, shall, on the second Monday in May in the year

 

1905, and upon the same day in every year thereafter, elect

 

by ballot a person, not under twenty-five years of age, a citi-

 

zen of the United States and a registered voter of the State of

 

Maryland and three years a resident of said town next pre-

 

ceding the election, to be Burgess of said town. He shall take

 

the oath of office as hereinafter prescribed for town officers,

 

and remain in office until his successor is elected and qualified.

 

At the same time and in the same manner there shall also be

 

elected five persons having the same qualifications herein pre-

 

scribed for the office of Burgess to be Councilmen of Boons-

 

borough, and also one person of like qualification to be As-

 

sistant Burgess. The Burgess, Assistant Burgess and Coun-

 

cilmen of Boonborough who shall have been elected on the
