may determine; may purchase and hold, or sell, real or per-

SEC. 7. And be it enacted, That the Stevensville Savings

Bank of Queen Anne's County is hereby authorized to receive

from any corporation, joint stock company, copartnership, in-

other than the County Treasurer of said county, and from any

person or persons acting for others, having the custody of any
|

money belonging to themselves or held in trust or for others.

|
SEC. 8. And be it enacted, That whenever any deposits shall
|
|
|
be made by a minor or married woman, such deposits shall be

and the check, receipt or acquittance of such minor or married

SEC. 9. And be it enacted, That this Act shall take effect

from the date of its passage.

AN ACT to repeal Sections 35 to 56, inclusive, of Article 22
|
|
|
of the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland, title "Wash-
|
|
|
ington County," sub-title "Boonsborough," and to re-enact
|
|
|
the same with amendments and to add additional sections
|
|
|
thereto in amending and revising the charter of Boons-
|
|
|
borough.
|
|
|
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
|
|
|
land, That Sections 35, 36, 37, 38, 39, 40, 41, 42, 43, 44, 45,
|
|
|
46, 47, 48, 49, 50, 51, 52, 53, 54, 55 and 56 of Article 22 of
|
|
|
the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland, title "Washing-
|
|
|
ton County," sub-title "Roonsborough," be and the same
|
|
|
are hereby repealed and re-enacted so as to read as follows:
|
|
|
35. The inhabitants of Boonsborough, in Washington
|
|
|
County, are created a corporation by the name of the Burgess
