SEC. 4. And be it enacted, That this Act shall take effect

CHAPTER 178.
|
 
|
AN ACT to repeal and re-enact with amendments Chapter
|
 
|
407 of the Acts of the General Assembly of Maryland of
|
 
|
1898, in so far as the same is applicable to Talbot County;
|
 
|
and to provide for the payment or disposition of all money
|
 
|
collected or received by any officer, officers or person from
|
 
|
forfeitures, fines, penalties and forfeited recognizances in
|
 
|
Talbot County.
|
 
|
SECTION I. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
|

Talbot County shall be paid to the clerk of said court, to be

expended under the direction of the judges of said court,.

for the augmentation of the library of said court.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That the other or remaining one-

to the informer or informers of such portion of said fines,

penalties or forfeitures as is by law directed to be made, the
|
 
|
balance of said fines, forfeitures or penalties is to be paid to the
|
 
|
clerk of said court, to be applied by him to the purposes men-
|
 
|
tioned in Section I of this Act.

|
SEC. 3. And be it enacted, That the provisions of this Act
|

penalty as aforesaid, and that the provisions of this Act are

intended to apply to all fines, forfeitures, penalties and for-
|
 
|
feited recognizances, whether the same are imposed or pro-
|
 
|
vided for under any statute of this State or under the common
|
 
|
law.
