CHAPTER 159.

 

AN ACT to amend the charter of "Perry Hall Methodist Epis-

 

copal Church, South," a body corporate, by granting to said

 

corporation perpetual succession, and by authorizing' it to

 

hold, own and maintain a cemetery or burying ground, and

 

to acquire, hold and administer funds for such purposes;

 

and to authorize it to do and maintain all things declared in

 

its certificate of incorporation to be objects and purposes of

 

said corporation.

 

SECTION i. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-

 

land, That the charter of "Perry Hall Methodist Episcopal

cate of incorporation, recorded in the office of the Clerk of the

 

Circuit Court for Baltimore County, January 19. 1875, in Liber

 

J. B. No. 1, folio 51, of "Acts of Incorporation." one of the

 

records of said county, said "Perry Hall Methodist Episcopal

 

Church. South," being hereby recognized as a body politic and

 

corporate of this State, is amended as herein set forth, namely,

 

said corporation shall have perpetual succession by its said

 

name of incorporation, and it is hereby provided that to hold,

 

own, administer and maintain a cemetery or burying ground,

 

and improve, beautify and keep in order and good condition

 

the same, and likewise particular lots, graves and tombs therein,

 

are objects and purposes of said corporation, and it is author-

 

ized and empowered to acquire, hold and use land and personal

 

property for said objects and purposes, and acquire, receive,

 

create, hold and administer funds for such objects and pur-

 

poses, or any of them, and to apply the same or the income

 

thereof to maintain, improve, beautify and keep in order and

 

good condition said cemetery or burying ground or particu-

 

lar lots, graves or tombs therein, or to any other proper uses
