I94E. The said Board of Election Supervisors shall, at

if there be that number, or have the same printed as a hand

bill, circulated and posted, and shall have printed for all said

elections a number of ballots, in accordance with the provisions

of this Act, equal to twice the number of qualified voters

in said town, and also sample ballots of the size of the official
|
 
|
ballot shall be printed on card board and tacked up about
|
 
|
the polling place and in each of the booths or compartments
|
 
|
provided for voters before the voting begins. And the said
|
 
|
Board of Election Supervisors shall provide a glass ballot-

booths at the ratio of one for each one hundred registered

paraphernalia

voters or fractional part thereof, and so far as it is not in con-

flict with the provisions of this Act, Section 59 of Chapter 2

of the Acts of 1901 of the General Assembly of Maryland,
|
 
|
shall be applicable to all elections held hereunder. And the
|
 
|
expenses incident to all elections held under this Act shall be
|
 
|
paid by the Mayor and City Council of Laurel out of the
|
 
|
general fund of said town upon a statement to be rendered
|
 
|
by the said Board of Election Supervisors. And the said
|
 
|
judges of election and each of them shall have authority to
|
 
|
keep the peace and have the same power conferred upon

Acts of 1901 aforesaid. And each clerk of election shall keep

a poll book containing a column headed "Number" and an-
|
 
|
other headed "Name of Voter." All entries therein shall
|
 
|
be made in ink, and the number and name of each person
|
 
|
to whom a ballot is given shall be entered on each of the poll
|
 
|
books by the clerk having charge thereof in regular suc-
|
 
|
cession under the proper heading, the number of each voter
|
 
|
being placed opposite his name in the column headed "Num-
|

ber," but if the vote of any person whose name has been

|
entered on poll books shall be afterwards rejected by the
|
 
|
judges, the clerks shall thereupon draw a line through his
|
 
|
name and number and continue said list, if there be any other
|
 
|
voters, as if the same had not been entered.
