SEC. 8. And be it enacted, That this Act shall take effect

 

from the first day of July, in the year 1904.

CHAPTER no.

 

AN ACT to provide for the separate accommodation of white

 

and colored passengers in the sitting, sleeping and eating

 

apartments of all steamboats plying in the waters within the

 

jurisdiction of the State of Maryland, without any difference

 

or discrimination in the quality of and convenience of accom-

 

modation.

 

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
