I78D of Article 2 of the Code of Public Local Laws, title "Anne

 

Arundel County/' sub-title "Justices of the Peace and Con-

 

stables," as the same was enacted by Sections 176, 176 (or

 

176B) of Chapter 334 of the Acts of 1892, Section 178B of

 

Chapter 276 of the Acts of 1900, Section 1788 of Chapter 467

 

of the Acts of 1902, and Section 178D of Chapter 301 of the

 

Acts of 1894, and to re-enact the said sections with amend-

 

ments, and to add new sections to said Article 2 to be desig-

 

nated as Sections 176, 176B, 178D and 178E...................

No. 641. An Act to authorize and direct the County Commission-

 

ers of Montgomery County to construct a stone pike road over

 

the county road between the town of Kensington and the

 

Wheaton Postoffice, in said county, not less than twelve feet

 

wide, and to borrow money on the credit of said county for the

 

construction of said road, and to issue coupon bonds therefor,

 

and to levy and collect on and from the assessable property

 

from the Fifth Collection District of said county an annual tax

 

sufficient to pay said bonds when they mature, and the interest

 

thereon as it becomes due ...................................

No. 642. An Act to repeal Chapter 426 of the Acts of 1898, en-

 

titled "An Act to extend the corporate limits of the City of

 

Cumberland, Maryland, and to provide for the extension of

 

Washington street to said limits as extended, and for the grad-

 

ing, paving, and otherwise improving said Washington street

 

as extended, and Brook avenue lying within the present city

 

limits and contiguous to said proposed extension," and to enact

 

the following in lieu thereof: "An Act to extend the corporate

 

limits of the City of Cumberland and to provide for the exten-

 

sion, laying off, grading, paving and otherwise improving of

 

Washington street from the west side of lot No. 72 (in Read's

 

addition to the City of Cumberland) in a westerly direction

 

about twenty-one hundred feet to Sulphur Springs Hollow

 

road, at a point to be determined by the the Commissioners ap-

 

pointed under this Act."......................................

Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland, title "Dorchester

 

County," to be known as Section 228A, under a new sub-title

 

of "Fraud on Livery Stable Keepers," providing for the punish-
ment of persons hiring horses or vehicles from livery stable

 

keepers in Dorchester County to go a certain distance, and

 

using said horse or vehicle for a greater distance..............

No. 644. An Act to repeal Sections 205 to 213, both inclusive,

 

of Article 6 of the Code of Public Local Laws, title "Caroline

 

County," sub-title "Roads," and Sections I and 2 of Article 25

 

of the Code .of Public General Laws, title "County Commis-

 

sioners," and all other laws, so far as said sections and laws

 

may be inconsistent with the provisions of his Act.............
