SEC. 7. And be it enacted, That the said Farmers and Mer-

chants' Bank of Chestertown, Maryland, is authorized to re-

any individual or administrator, committee, guardian, receiver,

SEC. 8. And be it enacted, That any and all laws of this

AN ACT to provide for the further extension of the charter
|
 
|
|
and corporate existence of the Woodsboro and Frederick
|
 
|
|
Turnpike Road Company, and to repeal Sections 7, 10, 13
|
 
|
|
and 18 of Chapter 304 of the Acts of the General Assembly
|
 
|
|
of Maryland, Session of 1853, entitled "An Act to incor-
|
 
|
|
porate a company to build a turnpike road from Woods-
|
 
|
|
boro to Monocacy bridge, on the road leading to Frederick
|
 
|
|
City," and to re-enact said Sections 7, 10, 13 and 18 of
|
 
|
|
said Chapter 304 of the Acts of the Session of 1853, with
|
 
|
|
amendments.
|
 
|
|
SECTION I. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
|
 
|
|
land, That the charter and corporate existence of the Woods-
|
Woodsboro
|
|
boro and Frederick Turnpike Road Company, which was in-
|

corporated by the General Assembly of Maryland, by Chap-
|

|
ter 304, passed at the January Session in the year .1853, on the
|

date May 27, in said year 1853, be and the same is hereby ex-
|
 
|
|
tended and continued in force, with all its rights, powers,
|
 
|
|
privileges and immunities, the same as contained in said char-
|
 
|
|
ter, except as hereinafter changed and amended by this Act,
|
 
|
|
for a further period of time from the date May 27, in the
|
 
|
|
year 1903, until the date May 27, in the year 1953.
