SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this Act shall take effect

 

from the date of its passage ; and, further, that all Acts incon-

 

sistent with the provisions hereof are hereby so far amended.

CHAPTER 663.

 

AN ACT to appropriate a sum of money to defray the ex-

 

penses of the interment of the bodies of deceased soldiers,

 

sailors and marines who served in the United or Confederate

dier, sailor or marine left no estate, and that the death occurred

 

in the State of Maryland.

 

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That the Comptroller of the
