SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-

CHAPTER 646.

AN ACT to make an appropriation for the Maryland Board of
|
 
|
|
Pharmacy.
|
 
|
|
WHEREAS, Chapter 179 of the Acts of the General Assembly
|
 
|
|
of Maryland, passed at its January Session of 1902, provided :
|

that the Governor should appoint five skilled and competent
|
Board of
Pharmacy.
|
|
pharmacists to be known as the Maryland Board of Pharmacy,
|
 
|
|
and the members of said Board, in consideration of the duties
|
 
|
|
they were to perform as prescribed by the said law, were to
|
 
|
|
receive a salary of fifty dollars per year and expenses, and the
|
 
|
|
secretary of said Board was to receive a salary of two hundred
|
 
|
|
dollars per year; and
|
 
|
|
WHEREAS, The members of the said Board have received
|
 
|
|
no salary since May I, 1903, and have paid their own expenses
|

ment for
|
|
while performing their duties as members of the Board, for
|
back salaries.
|
|
which amounts they have not been reimbursed, and are now
|
 
|
|
entitled to the sum of six hundred dollars for back salaries
|
 
|
|
and expenses; therefore,
|
 
|
|
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
|
 
|
|
land, That the sum of twenty- four hundred dollars be and
|
