SEC. 3. And be it enacted, That the sum of fifty dollars is

hereby appropriated for the use of the State Librarian to de-

SEC. 4. And be it enacted, That upon the certificate of the

troller of the State is hereby authorized and directed to issue

his warrant upon the Treasurer of the State in favor of the

of the State Librarian for fifty dollars.

|
SEC. 5. And be it enacted, That this Act shall take effect
|
 
|
|
on and after June 1, 1905.

AN ACT to add an additional section to the Act of 1898,
|

Chapter 123, entitled "City of Baltimore," sub-title "'Char-

ter/' said section to follow Section 327 of said Act, and to be
|
 
|
|
designated as Section 327A.
|
 
|
|
SECTION i. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
|

land, That the Act of 1898, Chapter 123, entitled "City of Bal-
|

timore," sub-title "Charter," be and the same is hereby amend-
|
ter.

ed by adding a new section thereto, following Section 327, to be

known as Section 327 A, to read as follows :

327A. Whenever any suit is instituted in one of the Circuit
|
 
|
|
Courts of Baltimore City, and after one or more of the defendants
