370 State of Maryland Minutes of 1976 Proceedings of Electors of President and Vice President of the United States of America, in and for the State of Maryland. At 11 A. M., on Monday December 13, 1976, the Electors for President and Vice President of the United States of America, in and for the State of Maryland, assembled in the State House of Annapolis. There were present Josephine M. Poklis, Edward A. Griffith, Joseph J. Klosek, Ronny A. Wainwright, James Clark, Jr., Nathaniel T. Oaks, Louis B. Knecht, Harry J. McGuirk and Roy Dyson. The absence of Carlton A. Sickles created a vacancy. Bonnie Johns was appointed to fill the said vacancy. James Clark, Jr. was designated President and Harry J. McGuirk was designated Secretary. The following proclamation, in sextuplicate, was received from Governor Marvin Mandel of Maryland.
