Given Under my hand and the Great Seal of the State of Maryland. Done at the City of Annapolis, this 6th day of December, in the Year of Our Lord One Thousand Nine Hundred and Seventy-two. Blan Harcum, James P. S. Devereuz, A. Wade Kach, John A. Cade, Robert Beall, James C. Baumgardner, Samuel Barber, Jane B. Lockwood, William W. Gullett and Carole Plante, being electors of President and Vice President of the United States of America for the respective terms beginning on the 20th day of January, 1973, duly and legally appointed and qualified by and for the State of Maryland, as appears by the annexed certificate made and delivered to us by his Excellency, The Honorable, Marvin Mandel, the Executive of said State, having met pursuant to the provisions of law, in the State House at Annapolis, in said State of Maryland, on the first Monday after the second Wednesday in December, 1972, being the 18th day of said month, do hereby certify that after being so assembled and duly organized, we proceeded to vote by ballot; and ballotted first for President of the United States and then for Vice President of teh United States by distinct ballots and that the following are two distinct lists, one of the votes for President and the other of the votes for Vice President, so cast as aforesaid. |
