352 In Testimony whereof I have hereunto subscribed my name as the Governor of the State of Maryland and caused to be attached hereto the Great Seal of the State of Maryland this 26th day of November in the year of our Lord One Thousand Nine Hundred & Fifty Six Theodore R. McKeldin By the Governor Blanchard Raudall Secretary of State State of Maryland City of Annapolis We the undersigned, Thomas B. R. Mudd, Samuel Hopkins, Elmer W. Sterling, Mrs. Isabel Ritchey, C. Edwin Roberts, George Douglas, Norwood Brown, Ester Fleishell and Mrs. Tracy Moos, being Electors of President and Vice President of the United States of America for the respective terms beginning on the 20th day of January, 1957, duly & legally appointed and qualified by and for the State of Maryland as appears by the annexed certificate made and delivered to us by his Excellency Governor Theodore R. McKeldin, the Executive of said State having met agreeable to the provisions of law in the State House at Annapolis on the first Monday after the second Wednesday in December, 1956, being the 17th day of said month. Do certify that after being so assembled and duly organized proceeded to vote by ballot and balloted first for President of the United States and then for Vice President by distinct ballots and that the following are two distinct lists, one of the votes for President and the other of the vote for Vice President so cast as aforesaid List of all persons voted upon for President Dwight D. Eisenhower 9 votes List of all persons voted upon for Vice President Richard M. Nixon 9 votes |
