346 State of Maryland Minutes of 1952. Proceedings of Electors of President and Vice President of the United States of America in and for the State of Maryland. At noon on Monday December 15, 1952, the Electors of the State of Maryland for President and Vice President of the United States, assembled in the State House at Annapolis. There were present W. Rae Dempsey, Jr., J. Marshall Boone, Solomon Small, Ethel Mae Lauterbach, John A. Janetzke, Jr., Mrs. Mary A. Burgess, Henry Kinsley, Chelsie Liller and Jesse Dell. J. Marshall Boone was selected as Chairman and John R. Reeves as Secretary. The following certificate in sextriplicate was received from Governor Theodore R. McKeldin of Maryland. Executive Department Annapolis Maryland I, Theodore R. McKeldin Governor of Maryland, do hereby certify to the Administrator of General Services of the United States in accordance with the provision of an Act of the Congress of the United States, approved June 25, 1948 (62 stat. 672), and amended by the Act of October 31, 1951 (65 stat. 710) as follows; " The Electors of President and Vice President of each State shall meet and give their votes on the first Monday after the second Wednesday in December next following their appointment at such place in each State as the legislature of such state shall direct." That the final ascertainment of the result of the election for Presidential Electors of the State of Maryland held in this State on the 4th day of November, 1952.
