        Which message was read when the President of the
College declared that nominations for President of the United
States were in order:  Thereupon Mr. James Carey nominated
Warran Gamaliel Harding  of the State of Ohio for
President of the United States for the term beginning from
and after the third day of March 1921, in conformity with
the Constitution and Laws and no one was else nominated
for the office of President of the United States.
        The President of the College thereupon names Messrs.
James Carey and Benj. F. Woelper, Jr. as tellers who received
the ballots which were duly deposited in ballot box and
on counting the ballots announced that Warren Gamaliel Harding
had received eight votes, the same being the full Electoral
vote for the President of the United States.
        The President of the College announced the vote as
aforesaid and the College proceeded to vote for Vice President
of the United States for the term beginning from and after
the third day of March 1921 in conformity to the Constitution
and Laws.
        Mr. William G. Henkel nominated Calvin Coolidge
of the State of Mass for Vice President for the ensuing
term.
        The President of the College named Messrs. A. C. Hayden
and William T. Delaplaine as tellers who received the ballot box
which had been delivered to them, and after receiving the ballots
announced that Calvin Coolidge of the State of Mass
had received eight votes for Vice President of the United States
there being no other nominations.
        Thereupon the President of the College declared that Calvin
Coolidge of the State of Mass had received eight votes for
Vice President of the United States, the same being the whole
Electoral vote of the State of Maryland.
        The President of the College then directed the Secretary
to prepare the several forms of certificates for the signatures
of the Electors, which was by the Secretary done in the following
form, to wit:
