        List of persons voted for as Vice President of the
United States of America by the Electors of President and
Vice President of the United States in and for the
State of Maryland, Thomas R. Marshall of the State
of Indiana received eight votes for Vic President of
the United States and no other person was voted for.
        We hereby certify that the above is a true list of
the persons voted for by the Electors for President and
Vice President of the United States in and for the State
of Maryland, and of the number of votes by them respectively
received.
        Witness our hands and seals this second Monday and
Eighth day of January, nineteen hundred and Seventeen.

                    The Aforegoing Form Was Adopted.
        To three certificates prepared by the Secretary according
to the foregoing form, the Secretary attached severally one of
the certificates furnished by the Executive Authority of the
State in obedience to the Laws of the United States.
        The said certificates together with the lists were
duly signed and sealed by the Electors.
        They were then folded and sealed and endorsed
with the following memorandum signed by each Elector.

                                            Senate Chamber, Annapolis, Md.
        We the undersigned Electors of President and Vice
President of and for the State of Maryland do hereby certify that
all of the votes of said State given for President and Vice
President of the United States to serve for and after the third
of March, 1917, are contained in the certificate and return
contained in the envelope.
