Vice President of the United States, and that on a count of
the ballots it was ascertained that Thomas R. Marshall
of the State of Indiana had received eight votes, and that
no other person was voted for.
        We further certify, that there were distinct ballots for
President and Vice President.
        The annexed distinct lists of the said persons with the
votes given to the same are hereby returned by us, the Electors
of President and Vice President of the United States in and
for the State of Maryland in pursuance of the Constitution
and Laws of the United States as having the aforesaid number
of votes.
        Done at the City of Annapolis, Maryland, on the second
Monday of January, being the Eighth day of said month, in
the year nineteen hundred and Seventeen.
        In Witness whereof we hereunto subscribe our hands and
affix our seals.

    List of persons voted for as President of the United States
of America, by the Electors of President and Vice President of
the United States, in and for the State of Maryland,
Woodrow Wilson of the State of New Jersey received eight
votes for President of the United States of America, and no
other person was voted for.
        We hereby certify that the above is a true list of the
persons voted for by the Electors for President of the United
States of America, in and for the State of Maryland, and
the number of votes by them respectively received.
        Witness our hands and seals this second Monday and
Eighth day of January, nineteen hundred and Seventeen.
