264 one of the certificates furnished by the Executive Authority of the State in obedience to the Laws of the United States. The said certificates together with the lists were duly signed and sealed by the Electors. They were then folded and sealed and endorsed with the following memorandum signed by each Elector. Senate Chamber, Annapolis, Md. We the undersigned Electors of President and Vice President of and for the State of Maryland do hereby certify that all the votes of said State given for President and Vice President of the United States to serve from and after the third of March, 1913, are contained in the certificate and return contained in the envelope. Goldsborough, have appointed, and by these presents do appoint and authorize him to take charge of one of said certificates and lists, and with all convenient dispatch to convey and deliver the same to the President of the Senate |
