        Which message was read when the President of
the College declared that nominations for President of the
United States were in order:  thereupon Mr. Trippe
nominated Woodrow Wilson of the State of New Jersey,
for President of the United States for the term beginning
from and after the third day of March, 1913, in conformity
with the Constitution and Laws:  and no one
else was nominated for the office of President of the
United States.
        The President of the College thereupon named Messrs.
Robert E. Lee and Louis C. Carrico as tellers who received
the ballots which were duly deposited in a ballot box
and on counting the ballots announced that Woodrow
Wilson had received eight votes, the same being the full
Electoral vote for the President of the United States.
        The President of the College announced the vote as aforesaid
and on motion of Mr. Shaw the College proceeded
to ballot for Vice President of the United States for the
term beginning from and after the third day of March,
1913, in conformity to the Constitution and Laws.
        Mr. Lee nominated Thomas R. Marshall of the State
of Indiana for Vice President for the ensuing term.
        The President of the College named Messrs. Baughman
and Shaw as tellers who received the ballots in a ballot
box which had been delivered to them, and after receiving
the ballots announced that Thomas R. Marshall of the State
of Indiana had received eight votes for Vice President of
the United States and there being no other nominations.
        Thereupon the President of the College declared that
Thomas R. Marshall of the State of Indiana had received
eight votes for Vice President of the United States,
the same being the whole Electoral vote of the State of
Maryland.
        The President of the College then directed the
Secretary to prepare the several forms of Certificates for
the signatures of the Electors, which was by the Secretary
done in form following, to wit:
