The foregoing form was adopted
                            To three certificates prepared by the Secretary
according to the foregoing form, the Secretary attached
severally one of the certificates furnished by the Executive
Authority of the State in obedience to the Laws of the
United States.
                            The said certificates together with the
lists were duly signed and sealed by the Electors.
                            They were then folded and sealed and
endorsed with the following memorandum signed by each
Elector.
                                        Senate Chamber Annapolis, Maryland.
                            We the undersigned Electors of President and
Vice President of and for the State of Maryland do
hereby certify that all the votes of said State given for
President of the United States to serve from and after the
third of March, 1909, are contained in the certificate
and return contained in the envelope.
Given under our hands this 11th day of January, 1909.

                                        Edwin H. Brown, Jr.
                                        John F. Williams
                                        Hampson H. Biedler
                                        John Charles Linthicum
                                        John A. Robinson
                                        Albert G. Towers.
                                On motion of Mr. Brown, the President of
the College was directed to deliver one copy of said certificate
to Mr. Robinson to be by him conveyed and
delivered to the Judge of the District Court of the United
States for the District of Maryland.  Another was
delivered to Mr. John C. Bowerman, Special messenger
to be by him conveyed and delivered to the President of
the United States Senate at Washington, D. C. and the
third copy was delivered to Mr. James W. Owens, to be
by him mailed in the Post office at Annapolis to the
President of the United States Senate, Washington, D. C.

                        Senate Chamber, Annapolis, Md. Jan. 11th 1909.
