That Alton Brooks Parker of the State of New York was put in
nomination for President of the United States of America for
four years from and after the third day of March next ensuing; and
that Theodore Roosevelt of the State of New York was also
put in nomination for President of the United States of
America for four years from and after the third day of
March next ensuing.
    That we then and there proceeded to vote by ballot in pursuance of the
Constitution and Laws of the United States for President of the United
States and on counting the ballots it was ascertained that
Alton Brooks Parker of the State of New York had received seven
votes for President of the United States, and that Theodore
Roosevelt of the State of New York had received one vote for
President of the United States and that no other person was
voted for.
    We further certify that Henry Gassaway Davis of the State of
West Virginia was then and there put in nomination for Vice President
of the United States and that Charles Warren Fairbanks of the
State of Indiana was also then and there put in nomination
for Vice President of the United States for four years from and after the
third day of March next ensuing.
    That we then and there proceeded to vote by ballot in pursuance
of the Constitution and Laws of the United States for Vice President
of the United States and that on counting the ballots it was
ascertained that Henry Gassaway Davis of the State of West
Virginia had received seven votes and that Charles Warren
Fairbanks of the State of Indiana had received one vote
for Vice President of the United States of America and that
no other person was voted for.
    We further certify that there were distinct ballots for President
and Vice President.
    The annexed distinct lists of the said persons with the
votes given tot eh same are hereby returned by us the Electors of
President and Vice President of the United States in and for the
State of Maryland in pursuance of the Constitution and Laws
of the United States as having the aforesaid number of votes.
        Done at the City of Annapolis Maryland on this second
Monday of January being the ninth day of said month in the
year nineteen hundred and five.
    On motion whereof we hereunto subscribe our hands and affix
our seals.
